1 – Baseball caps
So you tell yourself you’ll wake up at 6:30 am. 6:30 turns into 7 and 7 turns into 8 and before you know it you have ten minutes to get up and get out the house. That’s ten minutes to eat, shower, get dressed and style your hair. Impossible.
There’s no way you can do up your hair in such a short space of time.
That’s where baseball caps, or snapbacks if you prefer, come in. A great fashion item to cover up your messy morning hair and maintain a great appearance. Match it with similar coloured casual clothes. After all, monochromatic dressing is a fundamental fashion protocol.
Of course, a word must be said on the manner of which the cap is worn – front and centre being the words of choice.
2 – Oil wipes
Looking stylish runs deeper than the clothes you wear. Your skincare treatment is just as essential in ensuring you walk out of your house as the best version of yourself. Having an oily complexion can put people off and that can have huge implications on your own self confidence – it’s a big deal!
This can especially be a problem in the summer. Thankfully everyone in the UK won’t have to worry about that! (just kidding).
Investing in some basic oil wipes could completely rid of any of your visible oil. The one’s I’d recommend are Clean& Clear Oil Control Film 60 Sheets x 2 pcs. Easy to use: a quick dabble and you’re done. Nice and small so are brilliant for when you’re on the go.
3 – Lip treatment
Dry lips? No one wants to see them. I myself am a victim of chapped lips. They are especially prominent in the cold and wind. Lips can lose substantial amounts of moisture and cause your dry lips to split. The worst thing to do when this transpires is to start peeling away at the skin on the lips. You will only halt the recovery period for your lips to regain the necessary moisture.
The key to avoiding chapped or dry lips is to use some lip balm daily. I personally use Vaseline Lip Therapy Petroleum Jelly 20g. Not only will the lip balm hydrate your lips, locking in the moisture and stopping them from becoming dry, they will instantly look and feel softer so you can go about your day uninterrupted.
It’s also nice and portable, letting you carry it around in your pocket for whenever the need arises.
4 – Mints
Because let’s be honest, no one wants to smell your breakfast breath.
Let me know in the comments if any of you guys have on the go essentials you just couldn’t live without!
